Woman struck and killed while crossing US-19 in Palm Harbor

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in Palm Harbor.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:19 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022. Troopers say a 69 year-old male operating a pickup truck was traveling southbound on US-19, north of Cyprus Drive. The pedestrian was walking across the highway and entered the path of the vehicle.

As a result, the vehicle struck the pedestrian, a 47 year-old Clearwater woman who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
