Four Teens Flee from Stolen SUV Following St. Petersburg Crash

At approximately 5:15 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2017, a stolen SUV traveling southbound on 33rd Street hit a Nissan that was eastbound on 5th Ave. N.

After the collision, 4 teens (two boys and two girls), ran from the SUV.

Police say some construction workers nearby helped to detain one boy and two of the girls and helped officers arrest them.

The other boy got away.

The driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Eastbound 5th Avenue will remain closed between 32nd and 34th St until approximately 7:15 p.m.
