Firefighters from the City of Seminole Fire Rescue were dispatched to reports of a vehicle fire at approximately 10:18 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
The vehicle fire was next to the City of Seminole Public Works Operation Building located at 11150 70th Avenue N.

Arriving units found heavy smoke coming from the rear portion of the Waste Management compressed natural gas operated collection truck.

Additional assets were requested to assist in the extinguishment of the fire. The contents of the truck were removed to aid in the process.

No injuries or damage to the building were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
