4-year-old found on bottom of pool in Island Estates

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a call involving a
child pulled from a pool this evening on Island Estates.

The pool was located at the Horizon House condominiums located at 31 Island Way.

According to police, the 4-year-old boy was found at the bottom of a pool there.

He first was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital and later was transferred St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa.
