85-Year-Old Seminole Woman Killed After Being Struck by Backing Trailer in Seminole

SEMINOLE — An 85-year-old Seminole woman was killed Thursday morning after being struck by a utility trailer being backed along a residential street in Seminole.

According to investigators, the crash occurred on June 4, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Bellewood Avenue North and 136th Street North.

Authorities say a 57-year-old Seminole man was backing a Toyota Tundra westbound on Bellewood Avenue North while towing an enclosed utility trailer. As the vehicle approached 136th Street North, the trailer struck an 85-year-old Seminole woman who was walking eastbound along the edge of the roadway.

The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene following the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
