Largo Police Arrest One Murder Suspect And Now Looking for 22 year-old Shaquille Felder

The Largo Police Department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of 22 year-old Shaquille Ali Felder for 1st Degree Murder in the shooting death of 21 year-old McKinley Torbit.
The homicide occurred on July 13, 2015 at 9:41PM at the Tara Garden Apartments, located at 1630 Jefferson Ave in Largo. The investigation revealed that suspects attempted to commit an armed home invasion to the victim’s residence, but they were unable to make entry. The suspects fired multiple rounds at the victim who exited his home during the incident. The shooting occurred in the courtyard area of the apartment complex.
In the initial press release from Lieutenant Paul Amodeo from the Largo Police Department, it reveals several suspects arrived to the residence to locate the victim, 21 year-old Torbit McKinely. McKinley exited his apartment and a confrontation ensued between him and the suspects in the courtyard of the complex. McKinley was shot during the confrontation, and transported to Morton Plant Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Felder is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to still be in the Pinellas County area.

Largo Police arrested Frank Freeman in September for his role in the death. The booking information shows Freeman to be homeless and was also charged with possession of alprazolam and crack cocaine. Freeman was incarcerated for 5 years in state prison for robbery and felony battery.
