The first robbery was on December 17, 2015 at the Regions Bank located at 9701 Starkey Road at approximately 3:06 PM.

Peckham and Hoselton entered the bank.  Once inside the bank, Hoselton walked up to two different tellers, pointed a silver and black handgun at both clerks and demanded money according to detectives. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

Peckham stood just inside the front door of the bank and waited. Both suspects fled from the bank on foot in a north or northeast direction from the back of the bank.

The second crime occurred at the GTE Financial Credit Union located at 7691 Starkey Road on January 5, 2016 at approximately 5:38 PM

According to investigators the same two individuals entered the Credit Union.  Peckham remained by the door, while Hoselton walked to the automated teller machine armed with a 9MM Ruger handgun.

Investigators say when he reached the teller machine he said “let’s get out of here,” and both man walked out of the bank and fled the area.  They realized that the credit union only conducted transactions through interactive transaction machines.  They fled the scene in a vehicle that was parked north of the credit union.

Detectives say that there have been additional robberies that appear to have been committed by the same suspects:

-On December 15, 2015 a robbery occurred at the Quick Food Store located at 7539 46th Avenue North in unincorporated St. Petersburg.

-On December 28, 2015 a robbery occurred at the Citgo Gas Station located at 6915 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Peckham is facing charges of Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Armed Bank Robbery with a Firearm, and Attempted Armed Bank Robbery with a Firearm.

Hoselton is facing charges of Possession of Cocaine and is being held for a burglary and an armed robbery in Sarasota.

The investigation continues and many more charges are expected as Detectives believe they was involved in many other local robberies.

Both men are currently being held in the Pinellas County Jail.

The Herald Tribune in Sarasota reports that these two subjects robbed the RaceTrac on Point Loop Drive in Venice early Jan. 19. A deputy pulled the men over after the crime, but they sped off and ran away after crashing their car near the Central County Waste Disposal Center, reports say. The men then stole two bicycles from a nearby home and used them to escape, the Sheriff’s Office reports.  Read more at the Herald Tribune HERE.
