High winds associated with a strong cold front approaching the Tampa Bay area has forced the closure of the Skyway Bridge.
With winds now averaging 43-52, the Skyway Bridge is now CLOSED to ALL traffic. – FHP
The Skyway reopened at about 9:30 PM
