Hillsborough Man Dies in Post-Storm Related Accident
On September 14, 2017 at approximately 2:54 p.m., deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a person down call at 5704 Puritan Rd.
Upon arrival, deputies located 60 year-old John Knight laying on the ground.
According to a witness, Knight was cutting a tree branch when it struck him and knocked him off of his ladder, causing him to fall 20-25′.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced Knight deceased at 3:19 p.m.
