St. Petersburg Police Investigating Stabbing Death
The St. Petersburg Police Department is currently working a death investigation in the 600 block of 28th Ave South.
50-year-old Adrian Demetrious Johnson has been identified as the victim in a homicide that occurred just before 6pm on October 8, 2017, in the 600 block of 28th Street South.
An ongoing argument between Johnson and 39 year-old Wayman Swilley, led to an altercation during which Swilley stabbed Johnson.
Johnson was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he died from his injury.
Swilley stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
At this time no arrest has been made and no charges have been filed.
