Bicyclist Critically Injured in Crash at East Lake Rd and Keystone Rd

East Lake Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle versus a bicyclist collision near the intersection of East Lake Rd and Keystone Rd. The crash occurred at about 3:11 p.m on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
A 70 year-old Palm Harbor woman was traveling southbound on East Lake Road in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
The bicyclist, William Craig Gilbreath, age 57 of Tampa, was traveling westbound on Keystone Road. The Sonata had a green traffic signal according to Troopers when Gilbreath entered into the intersection.
Gilbreath was transported via Bayflite to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where, as of November 6th, he remains in critical condition.
Neither the 69 year-old passenger in the Sonata nor the driver were injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
