Tampa Police Investigating Serious Injury Traffic Crash Involving a Motorcyclist on Bayshore
Tampa Police are on-scene of a serious injury involving a vehicle and motorcyclist.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 on Bayshore Boulevard at Rome Avenue.
Preliminary reports suggest a Jeep Cherokee, travelling north on Bayshore Boulevard, attempted to make a left turn onto Rome Ave. A motorcyclist was travelling southbound on Bayshore and was struck by the Jeep. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and has been transported to a local hospital.
Southbound traffic on Bayshore between Oregon Ave and Nance Ave is being diverted as officers conduct their investigation.
