Man Facing Charges of Second Degree Murder After Altercation at Clearwater Mobile Home Park
Clearwater Police has arrested 57 year-old Luis Ramos-Flores after an altercation he was involved in ended in a death.
Police were dispatched the the Far Horizon Mobile Home Park located at 2580 Nursery Road at approximately 4:38 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. They received reports of a fight at the location with one man kicking and punching another man that was on the ground.
Police arrived and observed the suspect holding the victim down.
A Clearwater Police Officer handcuffed the suspect and paramedics were called to the scene.
The victim, 57 year-old Johnny Sauls. was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The victim died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m.
Detectives developed probable cause for the arrest of Luis Ramos-Flores and he was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
Ramos-Flores and Sauls had an on-going neighbor dispute.
The investigation continues.
