Woman stabbed following verbal dispute in Clearwater, suspect arrested

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a stabbing call that came in at 10:08 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019. The incident occurred at 908 Vine Ave.

The victim, 31 year-old Sandra Eddy, was stabbed in the upper part of her body. Bayflite landed at the nearby Seminole Boat Ramp and she was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa for treatment.

The victim was transported as a trauma alert, but her injuries now are not thought to be life-threatening, according to police.

On January 8, 2020, Woods turned herself in at the Pinellas County Jail. She will be charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief..
