Pedestrian seriously injured in crash on East Bay Drive in Largo

The Largo Police Department continues to investigate a crash on East Bay Drive east of Starkey Road.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators from the Traffic Safety Unit.

All eastbound lanes are closed during the investigation.

The pedestrian was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious
injuries.
