The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a crash that killed a Largo man.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Ulmerton Road and Coral Way in unincorporated Largo.
According to troopers, 48 year-old Susan Bugala of Clearwater was traveling southbound in a 2006 Chevy SUV and stopped at the stop sign on Coral way at the intersection with Ulmerton Road.
Dwayne Bastress, age 55 of Largo, was operating a 2007 Yamaha motocycle westbound on Ulmerton Road.
Troopers say that Bugala turned right into the path of the motorcycle.
Bastress, who was not wearing a helmet at the time, was transported to Bayfront Health, where he died from his injuries, the following day.
Bugala was cited for a stop sign violation. Troopers do not believe alcohol was a contributing factor in this crash.
