Man arrested after sexual battery on property manager in Pinellas Park

Pinellas Park Police arrested 34 year-old Daniel Love for armed sexual battery, aggravated assault, and false imprisonment, after the male suspect attacked an adult female property manager that was showing him a vacant mobile home for rent.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020, approximately 10:00 a.m., the 40 year old female victim who works as a property manager in a local mobile home park was doing some cleanup work around the MHP where she also resides. the mobile home park is located in the area of US-19 and Park Boulevard.

Love who is listed as a transient in Pinellas County, approached her and inquired about renting an empty unit within the park. The victim took Love over to an empty mobile home and began to show him around inside. During this time the victim became uncomfortable with Love’s presence and she tried to leave. Love grabbed the victim by the neck and would not allow her to leave.  At this time, Love pulled a pocket knife on the victim and subsequently forced her to perform sexual acts upon him, before he then sexually battered her.

After Love passed out inside the mobile home, the victim was able to escape and call for help.

Pinellas Park police responded to the 911 call and Love was taken into custody on the property without incident.  Detectives conducted further investigation into the incident and subsequently charged Love with multiple felony charges.

Love was booked into the Pinellas County Jail where he was given no bond on the sexual battery charge, $20,000 bond on the false imprisonment charge, and a $10,000 bond on the aggravated assault charge.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
