h007Motor scooter crash on Highland Avenue and Croydon Drive in Largo

At about 2:15pm this afternoon, units from both Clearwater Fire & Rescue and Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched to a vehicle crash involving a motor scooter.  One patient was transported to a local trauma center via Bayflite and another via Sunstar Paramedics.  Highland Avenue was closed in both directions during the crash investigation.  Largo Police Department will continue their investigation into the cause of the crash.
