Units from Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched this afternoon to a traffic crash on Ulmerton Road near Madison Avenue.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:45 pm in the westbound lanes of Ulmerton Road.  Crews from Largo’s Station 38 cut away the doors of the vehicle.  This extrication was needed to safely remove one of the injured drivers from the vehicle.

Two individuals were transported by Sunstar to local hospitals for further medical evaluation.
