Clearwater Police detectives are investigating a construction accident that left a man seriously injured.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at The Grove at Countryside, located at 2425 McMullen Booth Road.

The facility, under construction, is listed as an unparalleled Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care lifestyles.
The 29-year-old man fell from a scaffolding on the second story of the building.

Clearwater pokice say was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, where he is in critical condition.
Detectives notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
