Two people are left injured when their truck collides with a tree in Clearwater
About 9:15pm this evening multiple crews were dispatched to reports of a vehicle crash on Gulf to Bay Blvd near Skyview Lane. Initial crews reported that one occupant was ejected from the vehicle while one was entrapped in the vehicle. The individual in the vehicle was extricated and rushed to the awaiting Bayflite Helicopter for transport to a local trauma center. The ejected individual was transported to a local hospital by Sunstar Paramedics.
Clearwater Police Department is on-scene and conducting a complete traffic crash investigation. No other details are available at this time.
