Emergency crews from Largo Fire Rescue responded to the vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:08 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.
The collision involved two vehicles and a motorcycle and occurred in the westbound lanes of Ulmerton Road, just east of Tall Pines Drive.
Paramedics provided medical attention to the injured motorcyclist, who was promptly transported to the trauma center at Bayfront Health, St. Petersburg, for treatment of serious injuries. As of 5:20 p.m., the median lane in the westbound direction remains closed, causing disruptions to traffic flow in the area.
To investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) are currently at the scene. They are diligently working to gather information and piece together a comprehensive understanding of the events that transpired.
