Tampa Police Investigating Double Fatality Crash Near USF

The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash at McKinley Drive and Bougainvillea Avenue. The crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Officers responded to the scene and located a deceased adult male and an adult female.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The intersection is closed because of this incident and is expected to remain closed until the investigation is completed. Drivers are asked to find an alternative route.
