ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred outside the Three Brothers Market at 1040 16th Street South on Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:10 p.m. and discovered a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite emergency efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives have a suspect in custody and are questioning him. The two men were
known to each other.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting.
