CLEARWATER — Clearwater Police responded to a disturbance call just before 9 p.m. at 1301 Wood Avenue, where a woman was stabbed along with a police officer.
According to police, a female suspect attacked a woman and a responding officer during the incident. The civilian victim was transported as a trauma alert to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The injured officer was taken to Morton Plant Hospital. Authorities said the officer’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The female suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
