Firefighters from the Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department responded to reports of a house fire at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022. The incident was reported at a residence at 2471 Chaucer Street.
Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries after the fire, which was limited to a single bedroom and involved a mattress.
One adult male was taken to Tampa General Hospital as a trauma alert, along with an adult female.
Another adult male was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
