On April 29, 2023, at around 1 a.m., firefighters were called to the Beach Mobile Home Park situated at 687 54th Street S. in Gulfport due to a reported structure fire.
The firefighters observed smoke and flames emanating from the back of the mobile home, which they were able to put out. Fortunately, all occupants were able to evacuate safely, and there were no reported injuries.

Later that day, at around 3:50 a.m., firefighters were called back to the same location, which was engulfed in flames. The firefighters were able to put out the fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
