Clearwater Firefighters Quickly Contain House Fire, Pet Rescued

CLEARWATER — Clearwater Fire & Rescue crews responded to a residential structure fire just before 4 p.m. Friday at 1304 Arden Ave.

Firefighters arriving on scene found heavy fire coming from the home and immediately began an aggressive fire attack. Crews were able to quickly bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading further.

One pet was rescued from the residence during the incident. No injuries were reported among residents, firefighters, or other responders.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue was assisted at the scene by personnel from Dunedin Fire Rescue and Largo Fire Rescue.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No additional information was immediately available.
