Clearwater Police Seek Help Identifying Grand Theft Suspect

Clearwater Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a grand theft suspect from a crime at a beach hotel.

The incident occurred Nov. 5 at the Sheraton Sand Key located at 1160 Gulf Blvd.

The gift shop clerk stepped out of the store for a short time. During this time, the suspect entered the store and took about $300 from the cash register.

Video shows the man entering and leaving the store during the time the clerk was gone.
