Clearwater Police Seek Public’s Help To Identify Burglary Suspect

Clearwater Police detectives are asking for assistance from the public in identifying a burglary suspect.

The crime occurred on Feb. 17 at 24 Hour a Laundromat at 1232 S. Highland Ave. and was captured on video surveillance from the business.

On the video, a white male suspect between 40 and 50 years old is seen trying to break in to the manager’s office with a crowbar. He did not have his face covered at that time.

After he was unsuccessful, he and another suspect came back with their faces covered and were able to gain entry to the manager’s office.

The first suspect was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He had brown hair and was wearing a baseball hat with a large “T” on the front. The second suspect had a white shirt covering his face and dark clothing.
