Detectives from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Economic Crimes Unit arrested 56-year-old Stephanie Lopez of Oldsmar, former Mediterranean Manor homeowners association manager, for Scheme to Defraud and Grand Theft.
The investigation began in May 2023, prompted by reports from Lopez’s employer, Harbeck Hospitality.

Detectives found that Lopez had embezzled $24,664.88 from the homeowners association by using the funds for personal expenses.
On February 7, 2024, Lopez was charged with one count of Scheme to Defraud and one count of Grand Theft and taken into custody at the Pinellas County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
