On Thursday, December 7, 2023, at approximately 11:46 a.m., deputies responded to 10675 Seminole Boulevard Unit 41 in Unincorporated Largo for a fire.
When deputies arrived on the scene, the Seminole Fire Department was actively fighting the fire.

Detectives say the fire department pulled the victim, 68-year-old Clayton Wilson, from the structure. Wilson was flown to Tampa General Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Detectives are investigating the fire and say the fire does not appear suspicious in nature.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Next of kin has been notified.
The investigation continues.
