Driver killed in Palm Harbor crash

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continue to investigate a fatality crash in Palm Harbor.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:55 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

According the troopers, the 58-year-old driver of a Chevy pickup, was traveling westbound on Tampa Road, east of Lake St. George Drive.

For unknown reason, the driver lost control of the pickup, crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a Honda Pilot.

The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Honda Pilot was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
