Firefighters battle a fire at the Caribbean Isle MPH

Firefighters were called to the Caribbean Isle Mobile Home Park this evening about 8:45pm.  A call was placed to 911 to report a fire within the structure at 12100 Seminole Blvd, Unit # 239.

Firefighters were quickly able to extinguish the fire and ventilate the mobile home.  Two occupants were evaluated by emergency personnel and required no further treatment at the scene.

There was a puppy still in the home when the occupants evacuated, however, firefighters were able to locate the puppy under a bed.  The puppy and its owner were reunited.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
