Golfer Struck by Lightning at the Clearwater Country Club
Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel responded to the Clearwater Country Club shortly after 11 this morning after a golfer was struck by lightning.

76 year-old Frank Sink had just stepped off his cart on the 7th tee when he was struck.
He was taken by ground to Tampa General Hospital for treatment of his injuries. According to Clearwater Police, Sink was transported in critical condition.

The Country Club is located at 525 Betty Lane.
Clearwater Police accounced that Sink was upgraded to fair condition at approximately 4:30 p.m.
