Clearwater Fire & Rescue and Clearwater Police responded to a of a serious injury crash in the 1800 block of Gulf to Bay Boulevard.
The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Due to the crash and damaged utility line infrastructure, all lanes of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard closed to the east of Keene Road.
Motorists were asked to divert away from the area due to ongoing investigation and utility work. The roadway reopened shortly after 6:30 p.m.
One person was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert and serious injuries. It was a single-car crash where the vehicle slammed into a power pole and also a parked vehicle.
