Tampa Police are currently investigating the fatality crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle. The crash occurred at W Waters Avenue and N Boulevard overnight about 3 AM Monday morning.
According to Tampa Police, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to St. Joseph’s hospital where he died due to injuries sustained in this crash.
Officers are also trying to locate the driver of the red pick-up truck involved in this crash, the driver fled from the scene on foot prior to the arrival of officers. Anyone who may have information as to the identity of the driver should call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130.
Traffic will be detoured until detectives can complete their investigation.
Drivers should avoid the area between N. Boulevard and El Portal on W. Waters Ave until further advised.
