St. Petersburg, FL – Police are investigating a homicide following a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at a club located at 901 9th Avenue South.
At approximately 3:19 a.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, an altercation inside the club escalated into the parking lot, where multiple shots were fired.
Delvin Jaquez Ford, 27, was shot while attempting to leave the scene in a vehicle. He then crashed into a pole. Ford was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he later died from his injuries.
A second victim, a 26-year-old woman, was shot in the leg. She is in stable condition.
