Hudson Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Saturday Afternoon on Little Road

A crash occurred on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at approximately 4:28 PM, that claimed the life of 23 year-old Jay Holley of Hudson.

It occurred at the intersection of Little Road and Schrader Blvd.

According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), 79 year-old Ronald Mishler of Port Richey, FL was stopped westbound on Schrader Blvd at the intersection of Little Road. Mishler was driving a 2002 Pontiac Montana.

As Holley was traveling southbound on Little Road, Mishler reportedly turned left into the path his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle.

Holley sustained fatal injuries during the crash and died at the scene.

The crash remained under investigation and the press release states that charges are pending.

According to Troopers, Holley was wearing a helmet at the time and alcohol did not appear to have played a role in the crash.

  1. The old man should have his driving privileges revoked permanently! Unless the motorcyclist was one of those who swerves in and out of traffic between cars and act like they have no rules to follow.its aweful for anyone lo lose thier life but what people forget driving any motorized vehicle is like caring around a bomb or loaded gun if not careful it couldgo off and kill anyone.rip to the young man whos life was taken too soon,and the older gentleman should lose license and be charged if he was in wrong, my condolences to the soldiers family and friends and thank you for your service.
