I-75 in Pasco County closed as cows appear to have fallen from passing truck

On April 14, 2020, at 10:44 AM, FHP Troopers responded to a call of several cows along the north and southbound lanes of I-75, just north of SR-52.

Units from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and the Fish & Wildlife Commission also responded to the incident.

A total of six cows were located, three deceased and three with injuries.

The cows appear to have fallen from an unknown passing truck.

The roadway was closed until 1:00 PM.
