Pinellas Park Police investigating fatal crash on Park Boulevard

Traffic Homicide investigators are currently on-scene of a fatality crash on Park Boulevard just west of Belcher Road.

The crash occurred on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 7:47 a.m.

Nathan Marcum who was the driver of a Chrysler 200 was travelling southbound on Belcher Rd and stopped at the red light at Park Blvd.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo who was travelling west bound on Park Blvd entered the intersection on a green light while Marcum entered the intersection causing a crash.

Marcum’s vehicle spun subsequently striking another vehicle that was stopped at a red light on Park Blvd.

Marcum died at the scene as a result of the crash.

Speed and/or alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors in the crash at this time.

The investigation continues and the information in this article is based in preliminary data and is subject to change.

No charges are expected in this crash.

All lanes of Park Boulevard reopened at approximately 10:30 a.m.
