Lakewood Elementary School Teacher Arrested for Grand Theft of Beauty Products From the Ulta Beauty Store in Seminole
Detectives from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a grand theft
suspect who stole from the Ulta Beauty Store in Seminole.
Detectives released a copy of the store’s video surveillance to the public via social media on November 7, 2018. A School Resource Officer from Pinellas County Schools Police recognized the woman from the video surveillance and reported the discovery to detectives.
The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Kelly Greene of St. Petersburg. She is currently a teacher at Lakewood Elementary School.
Detectives began their investigation on October 14, 2018, after employees of the Ulta Beauty Store called deputies to report the theft. Store video surveillance depicted a woman stealing multiple beauty, facial and hair products from the Store located at 7676 113th Street North, Seminole. According to detectives, the thefts resulted in a total of $537 worth of beauty products taken.
Green admitted to detectives she was the one depicted in the video committing the grand theft. She was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
