Largo Fire Rescue setting up Bayflite landing zone

Largo Fire Rescue and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office were called to assist with an injured individual. The call came in shortly after 10 pm on Friday evening. The person injured was located near the railroad tracks just off of Ulmerton Road and 95th Street in Unincorporated Largo.

Bayflite was called to assist in transporting the patient and the landing zone was setup in the nearby Largo Mall parking lot with the assistance of the Largo Police Department.  The patient was transported to a local Trauma Center for further medical care.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will be investigating the incident.
