Members of the Largo Police Department along with Largo Fire Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Seminole Boulevard and Canterbury Lane approximately 5:21 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The call for service was in reference to a motorcycle versus vehicle at the intersection.
Upon arrival to the scene, paramedics from the Largo Fire Rescue determined that the motorcyclist died at the scene due to the extent of their injuries. The investigation is ongoing to determine causation of the crash, however, police say that alcohol was not a factor with the vehicle driver.
Southbound lanes on Seminole Blvd are currently shut down and is expected to be closed until approximately 9:00pm as the Largo Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit remains on scene conducting their investigation.Â
