Largo Police investigating fatality crash involving a pedestrian on Seminole Boulevard

Largo Police investigating fatality crash on Seminole Boulevard

Largo Police and Largo Fire Rescue Departments were dispatched to a crash at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

The crash, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred in the southbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard just prior to 14th Avenue SW in Largo.

According to the initial investigation, a southbound traveling passenger car struck an adult male as he stepped into the roadway. 

The male was transported to a Largo Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

No pedestrian crosswalks were visible from the location of the crash.

It has been almost 13 years since the inception of IONTB.
