Largo Police Unveil New Mobile App
Largo Police Department has announced a new app for your mobile devices.
Largo Police Chief Undestad initiated this project along with many other instrumental personnel. LPD states this new mobile app allows citizens to engage with the police department with features like department statistics, news and events, missing and wanted individuals, commend an officer, and various links to other pertinent law enforcement information.
They report they mobile app is in the preliminary phase and is a work in progress.
The app can be found in the Apple App Store and Android Play Store.
In late 2014, both the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and St. Petersburg Police unveiled their own mobile apps. Shortly thereafter, the android versions of the apps no longer worked on Android devices. No updates have been provided but they continue to work on Apple devices.
