A man was rescued near the Skyway Fishing Pier after he fell from the pier.
Multiple witnesses observed an adult male falling off the pier at approximately 5:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
Multiple agencies searched for the man, who was seen drifting out in the Gulf.
Shortly after 6 a.m., he was located by a crew from the US Coast Guard and evaluated by paramedics at O’Neills Marina. He reportedly was in no medical distress.
