Man forced to withdraw money at ATM while being held at gunpoint in downtown St. Petersburg

Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department are currently investigating an armed robbery and kidnapping.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 27th. Two men approached a man near Central and 2nd Street South and forced him at gunpoint to go to the nearest ATM and withdraw cash multiple times.

Later, they let him go without any physical harm.
