Motorcyclist from Seminole killed in Pasco County crash

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers continue investigating a crash that killed a 59-year-old Seminole resident.

The crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the area of US-19 and Stahl Drive in Hudson.

Troopers said the 59-year-old unhelmeted motorcyclist was traveling southbound on US-19 north of Stahl Drive.

A 22-year-old woman from Spring Hill was traveling in a sedan northbound on US-19.

For unknown reasons, the motorcyclist crossed the center median, entered the northbound lanes of US-19, and collided nearly head-on with the vehicle.

After the initial impact, both vehicles came to final rest in the northbound lanes, with the motorcyclist suffering fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was not physically injured in the crash.
