Motorcyclist killed in collision with HART bus on Dale Mabry Highway

Tampa Police were dispatched to the report of a traffic crash at S. Dale Mabry Highway and W. Euclid Ave. The crash occurred at approximately 8:04 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019.

It was reported a motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Dale Mabry.

A HART bus, travelling northbound on Dale Mabry, was making a turn onto westbound Euclid Ave.

The adult male motorcyclist struck the rear corner of the bus and suffered fatal injuries. There were no injuries to the passengers or driver of the bus.

The intersection remains closed at this time as officers continue this active investigation.
